  • *What You’ll Do**

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • **Efficiently Managing Inbound Calls**: Handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customers receive accurate and timely information.
  • **Active Listening**: Listen attentively to customer needs and provide clear, concise information to resolve their queries.
  • **Accessing Cardholder Accounts**: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies.
  • **Assisting with Inquiries**: Assist cardholders with inquiries regarding transactions and account statuses.
  • **Processing Transactions**: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision.
  • **Communicating Effectively**: Communicate in a warm, empathetic manner while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
  • **Maintaining Knowledge**: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and client programs, policies, and technology.
  • **Supporting Team Operations**: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • **Be at Least 18 Years Old**: Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • **Have 6 Months of Customer Service Experience**: Have experience in customer service, call centers, or dispatch.
  • **Complete a Background Check**: Pass a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting.
  • **Comply with Camera Requirements**: Comply with camera requirements for meetings and training.
  • **Have a Verified Internet Connection**: Have a verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection to support business needs.
  • **Have a Dedicated Work Area**: Have an established, dedicated work area equipped with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.
  • **Have Working Knowledge of Computers**: Have working knowledge of computers and Windows applications.
  • **Pass an Internet Speed Test**: Complete an internet speed test and achieve a minimum of 50 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download.

While not required, having 1+ years of previous call center experience is a plus.
