We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that leverage RWE and clinical trials. As a key member of our Clinical Trials team, you will be responsible for designing and executing advanced data analysis and machine learning models to extract insights from large datasets. Your expertise will be essential in driving the development of new treatments, improving patient outcomes, and reducing healthcare costs.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Design and execute advanced data analysis and machine learning models to extract insights from large datasets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that inform clinical trials and RWE initiatives
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines and data visualization tools to support data analysis and reporting
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to address complex healthcare challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions
  • Collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain a robust and scalable data infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and reports to support data analysis and decision-making
  • *Essential Capabilities**
  • 2+ years of experience with R, Python, or SQL
  • Experience in designing and executing powerful and reproducible statistical analyses with regards to epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data
  • Knowledge of standard statistical testing strategies including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
  • Experience handling large datasets from various data sources
  • Experience handling protected patient health data
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools
  • *Preferred Capabilities**
  • Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets
  • Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
  • Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
  • Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
  • Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
  • Understanding of machine learning and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
