As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality RWE through advanced analysis and creative methodologies in the clinical trials space. You'll work closely with our Clinical Trials team to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.   • *Key Responsibilities**
  • **Data Mining and Analysis**: Mine crude information datasets to extract normalized, analysis-ready patient companions from in-house information resources or authorized stages, analyze and interpret results, and help shape investigation methodology.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with different members of the arenaflex Clinical Trials team to convey meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests.
  • **Data Cleaning and Storage**: Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization.
  • **Data Mining and Statistical Analysis**: Perform data mining and statistical analysis to examine RWE/RWD and uncover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment results.
  • **Results Research Studies**: Work together on the design and execution of results research studies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • **Dashboard Development**: Develop dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use to support business decisions.
  • **Certified Data Quality**: Conduct a reasonable level of effort on new certified data suppliers, sellers, and drive RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions.
  • *Essential Capabilities**
  • **Experience in Data Analysis**: Experience in planning and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data.
  • **Familiarity with Statistical Testing Methods**: Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, clustering and classification, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
  • **Handling Large Datasets**: Experience handling large datasets from various information sources.
  • **Handling Protected Patient Data**: Experience handling safeguarded patient wellbeing data.
  • **Familiarity with BI Tools**: Familiarity with at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools.
  • *Preferred Capabilities**
  • **Advanced Degree**: PhD, Graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, software engineering, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field.
  • **EMR/Health IT Experience**: Skill in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims data sets.
  • **Clinical Data Standards**: Ability in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode).
  • **GCP and Regulatory Experience**: Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as administrative compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR).
  • **Alternative Data Sources**: Experience working on alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology stages and solutions.
  • **Exploratory Plan and Bayesian Modeling**: Experience with exploratory plan, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational insights.
  • **Insights and AI Techniques**: Understanding of insights and AI techniques, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
