  • *Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Performance Analyst to join our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team. As a Performance Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing dimension and analytical support for Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. You'll work closely with our team to conduct forecasting, root-cause analysis, and ad-hoc business analysis, as well as provide analytical support to the local operation and partners across the division. This role requires a self-starter who is curious, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about data storytelling, with the ability to handle ambiguity and meet strict timelines.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
  • Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and perform analyses from start to finish
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data
  • Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
  • Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to track various programs
  • Execute programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines
  • *Measurement and Analytics**
  • Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports
  • Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve if needed
  • Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
  • Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
  • Stay up-to-date with today's data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members
  • *Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
  • Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
  • Proactive interest in understanding the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
  • Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
  • Experience with SQL and R or Python
  • *Nice-to-Haves**
  • Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
  • Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
