Position Overview


We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. This position requires a unique blend of software engineering and operations expertise to build and maintain resilient infrastructure that serves hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities



  • Operational Excellence: Perform SRE duties and procedures on supported services in production, including but not limited to standby rotations, maintenance, change management, monitoring, incident response, scope organization, and disaster recovery.

  • System Reliability: Augment system uptime, availability, and stability to ensure functional and performance SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Documentation: Contribute to existing documentation and create effective documentation, including operational runbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and SLA/SLO definitions.

  • Automation & Tooling: Initiate and lead scripting, tooling, and automation projects to streamline processes and minimize human intervention while maximizing efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally and regionally with SRE, Development, QA, and Product Management teams to manage incidents and improve processes.

  • Project Management: Manage and prioritize projects for high productivity and exact deliveries within agreed timelines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system improvements and lead initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.

Essential Qualifications



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Technical Experience: Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language.

  • Systems Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems, Networking, Database concepts, Monitoring, and Shell scripting.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities to address complex technical challenges.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Highly collaborative team player with a self-starter mentality and ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, GoLang, or C++.

  • Technical Specializations: Expertise in SRE methodologies, AIOPS, APM (Application Performance Monitoring), and Disaster Recovery planning.

  • Technology Stack: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse, Message Line, OpenTSDB, or Service Mesh technologies.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with large-scale distributed systems in high-traffic environments.

Skills & Competencies Required for Success



  • Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices design patterns.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure during incident response situations.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and prevent potential issues before they impact users.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

Compensation & Benefits


We offer a competitive compensation package that recognizes your skills, experience, and contributions. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $27 to $37 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. Base compensation is one part of the Total Package provided to recognize and reward employees for their work.
