About the Manufacturing Operations Team

The Manufacturing Operations team at arenaflex is the backbone of our hardware production. We're responsible for delivering cutting-edge physical systems that power arenaflex's search technology, cloud computing platforms, and AI infrastructure. In this role, you'll evaluate product designs and create the processes, tools, and procedures behind arenaflex's powerful technology.

When our vendors assemble components for our infrastructure, you'll be right there ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You'll collaborate with Product Managers and Design Engineers to determine arenaflex's infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the diverse pieces of arenaflex's system fit together seamlessly, keeping our systems running smoothly for a seamless client experience.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing & Product Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between design and production. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead cross-functional reviews between Design and Operations Engineering to drive requirements essential to executing Design for Excellence (DFX) and test strategy

  • Ensure plant availability and support manufacturing line raises, providing product troubleshooting training and gathering feedback on build issues

  • Manage the bone pile and drive yield span analysis to continuously improve product quality

  • Collaborate with Product teams to highlight risks and develop mitigation plans

  • Work alongside Quality Engineers to establish product quality and reliability targets

  • Approve product capability plans, support reliability testing, and review results to ensure product performance meets requirements

  • Coordinate the launch of New Product Introduction (NPI) Bill of Materials (BOMs) into Product Data Management (PDM) systems

  • Support second-source part capability and the release of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs)

  • Travel to work locally with providers and offer remote support for pre-production builds

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate with a strong technical foundation and practical experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations for complex electronic assemblies.

Essential Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an organization developing supply chains in manufacturing and testing environments

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and part suppliers for data center server-type products

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL queries and scripting in Python or Bash

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with Original Design Makers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and part suppliers for data center class server accelerator products (e.g., GPU, FPGA, or ASIC)

  • Experience creating and implementing design validation test plans for complex electronic assemblies

  • Understanding of ASIC DFT (Design for Test) and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test processes, as well as post-silicon validation

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL queries and scripting in Python or Bash

  • Experience with high-performance computing hardware or AI accelerator platforms
