  • *Responsibilities**

As an Online Chat Advisor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling online chat conversations with prospective students, answering front-line admissions questions, and providing responsive feedback while representing arenaflex's unique brand and business needs.
  • Addressing general chat inquiries, regardless of modality (online or onsite), to provide specific answers or route to the correct department personnel throughout arenaflex (including Admissions and Student Central).
  • Routing detailed chat inquiries to the appropriate department personnel, with special consideration for Student Finance questions, to ensure best-in-class student service.
  • Engaging with continuing students, answering general student questions regarding registration, academics, classes, and University catalog material, and providing pertinent and responsive feedback.
  • Dispositioning inquiries in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Generating and documenting qualified inquiries and reassigning them to the appropriate recipients to help students further understand arenaflex's programmatic offerings.
  • *Schedules and Flexibility**

We offer two flexible 40-hour schedules to accommodate your needs:

  • Schedule 1: 12:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday through Friday and 9:00am to 6:00pm Saturday (Central Standard Time)
  • Schedule 2: 12:00pm to 8:00pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am to 6:00pm Sunday (Central Standard Time)

We prefer candidates who can work either schedule, but we're open to discussing flexible arrangements that suit your needs.

  • *Qualifications**

To succeed as an Online Chat Advisor, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in admissions, student services, or a related field, with familiarity with institution catalogs
  • Subject matter expertise in front-line admissions policies
  • Excellent multi-tasking and typing skills, with the ability to handle multiple online chats simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and friendly via non-verbal sources
  • *Skills and Competencies**

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM systems

  • Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
