We're seeking experienced customer support reps who are well-versed in the music industry, particularly in Pop and Country genres. As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Agent, you'll play a vital role in helping fans via ticketing, including purchasing merchandise, password resets, website assistance, and troubleshooting.   • *Responsibilities**

As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Expressing genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues and addressing them as if they were your own
  • Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
  • Identifying high-risk customer situations and escalating them appropriately without hesitation
  • Keeping up with multiple chats at a time and accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
  • Responding to and resolving open issues in an appropriate timeframe
  • Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management
  • Multi-tasking using multiple systems and skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times and remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Being flexible and willing to cross-train as requested
  • *Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A LOVE of music, particularly in Pop and Country genres
  • 3-5 years of call center chat experience, with a strong preference for technical experience and Zendesk expertise
  • The ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently
  • Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a great understanding of text and chat acronyms
  • Excellent grammar and the ability to use industry-specific lingo
  • Previous work-from-home experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A strong understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement
  • *Hardware/Software Requirements**

To ensure a seamless experience, you'll need:

  • Your own computer with a processor of more than 4 cores, 8GB of RAM on Windows 10 or higher, and a screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher
  • Dual monitors and a USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform and a recent scan completed
  • A hardwired connection to your router and a firewall enabled
  • *Job Type and Schedule**

This is a Part-Time + On-Call position, guaranteeing 25 hours per week with the flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week based on client needs and workflow. Shifts vary between 9:00am-6:00pm EST, typically lasting 4-8 hours.
