What You'll Do

As a Part Time Field Service Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. Your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair beverage dispensing equipment, including soda fountains, coffee machines, and other related equipment. This role offers variety and challenges that will keep you engaged and learning every day.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Installation: Install new beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and functionality according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.

Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. This includes cleaning, inspecting, and testing components to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with beverage equipment. Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions efficiently.

Client Interaction: Work directly with customers to understand their needs, provide excellent service, and build long-lasting relationships. Communicate professionally and clearly, ensuring customers are informed about service procedures and timelines.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including work performed, parts used, and customer feedback. Complete required paperwork and electronic documentation in a timely manner.

Inventory Management: Manage and maintain service vehicle inventory, ensuring all necessary parts and tools are available for each service call.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself, customers, and colleagues.

On-Call Availability: Be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet customer demands and ensure service excellence.

Essential Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or related fields is a plus.

Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This role requires traveling to various customer locations within the Tampa area.

Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply new technical concepts quickly. Previous experience with beverage equipment, refrigeration, or similar machinery is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Availability: Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
