We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Remote Account Manager to help grow our third-party (3P) marketplace in the United States. Position Overview

As an Account Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in expanding our third-party seller ecosystem and enhancing our product selection for customers across the United States. This position is chartered with acquiring, developing, and managing high-value accounts that will cozy new product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience to our customers. You will be responsible for identifying market gaps, executing go-to-market strategies, and attracting key marketplace players to join our platform.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our marketplace growth team, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Market Analysis: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality, global developments, and competitive activities. You will continuously monitor market trends and competitor efforts to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to join our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations. You will be the face of arenaflex to potential partners and will play a crucial role in expanding our seller base.
  • Seller Enablement: Guide sellers through the onboarding process and share best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor issues, ensuring a seamless experience for our sellers and customers alike.
  • Strategy Execution: Execute go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform and maximize our product selection aspect and customer base.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and seller metrics to continuously improve our marketplace offerings and drive business growth.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree is required. Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields are preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries.
  • Demonstrated achievement in exceeding income targets using a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach.
  • Experience promoting nascent products/services into new markets is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office programs, with the ability to analyze data and create compelling reports.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Consumer Electronics sector is a plus.
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote teams or in a virtual environment.
  • Familiarity with marketplace platforms and seller ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of international trade and cross-border e-commerce.
