We're seeking an experienced Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order team, you'll play a crucial role in helping patients navigate the healthcare system and ensuring that they receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include routing questionable prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, making outbound calls and faxes to physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You'll work in a high-production environment where you'll need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescriptions
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and technology
  • *Requirements**
  • 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills and experience with pharmacy software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement (with approved reasonable accommodation)
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Specialty pharmacy experience
  • Call center experience
  • Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
