We want every arenaflex employee to feel they belong and can thrive. When you join arenaflex, you're not just taking a job—you're becoming part of a community that's creating technology for everyone, everywhere.

About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in overseeing our third-party data center (3PDC) operations globally. This isn't your typical project management role—you'll be bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, driving operational excellence, and ensuring our infrastructure scales efficiently to meet growing demands.

You'll work alongside talented Engineers and Planners to address complex challenges in our global fleet of third-party data centers. Your analytical mind, coupled with your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, will be key to your success in this role. You'll be equally comfortable presenting strategic recommendations to executives as you are diving deep into technical tradeoffs with our engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our Infrastructure team, you will:

  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate with a team of Engineers, Planners, and Operations specialists to address challenges across our global fleet of Third-Party Data Centers (3PDC). You'll coordinate efforts across multiple teams and time zones to ensure seamless execution.

  • Drive Business Intelligence: Work with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, then design and execute end-to-end analyses that include data gathering, thorough analysis, ongoing scaled predictions, and compelling presentations that influence strategic decisions.

  • Build Scalable Solutions: Plan and automate metrics, iteratively building and prototyping dashboards that provide actionable insights at scale. You'll transform raw data into meaningful visualizations that drive operational improvements.

  • Champion Process Improvement: Use your data analysis skills to identify opportunities for improvement within our 3PDC operations. You'll develop and present business recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis, always looking for ways to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to drive impact and work toward shared organizational goals. You'll be the glue that brings different groups together toward common objectives.

  • Strategic Planning: Help plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project timelines while communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A four-year degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in program management, demonstrating your ability to lead complex initiatives from conception to completion.

  • At least 3 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-group projects, showing your capability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience in financial modeling and analysis, including proficiency with spreadsheets and controlling data sets using SQL or similar database languages.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, data-driven solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

If you have these additional experiences, you'll be a perfect fit:

  • 3+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects spanning a diverse set of stakeholders—both technical and non-technical team members.

  • 3+ years of experience in technical program/project management roles within infrastructure, data centers, or cloud operations.

  • Proven track record of identifying, communicating, and collaborating with stakeholders within multiple teams to drive impact and achieve shared goals.

  • Strong analytical, data visualization, and critical thinking abilities—you can see patterns in data and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and understanding of data center architecture and operations.

  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in data center operations and a passion for environmental responsibility.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.

Skills and Competencies

Success in this role requires a unique blend of technical acumen and interpersonal skills:

  • Data Fluency: You must be comfortable working with large datasets, writing SQL queries, and using analytical tools to derive meaningful insights. Your ability to turn data into stories will set you apart.

  • Strategic Thinking: You should be able to see the big picture while still paying attention to critical details that impact project outcomes.

  • Influential Communication: Whether you're explaining technical tradeoffs to engineers or presenting business recommendations to C-suite executives, your communication must be clear, persuasive, and tailored to your audience.

  • Problem-Solving: You approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, breaking down complex problems into manageable components.

  • Adaptability: The technology landscape evolves rapidly. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot when requirements change.

  • Leadership: You don't need direct reports to be a leader. You should be comfortable influencing without authority and driving results through collaboration.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

At arenaflex, your career trajectory is limited only by your ambition. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll gain exposure to some of the most advanced technology in the industry. You'll work on projects that have global impact, learning from some of the brightest minds in the field.
