Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technology Analyst specializing in Workday Data Migrations to join our People and Finance technology team. This critical role will be responsible for driving business day release management and document transfer processes that are essential to our operational success. You'll work closely with delivery teams, engineers, and product owners to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business domain and system functionalities.
As a Technology Analyst at arenaflex, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of data migration projects while maintaining data integrity and security standards. Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for:
- Business Analysis & Solution Design: Apply your expertise in analysis, business processes, tools, domains, project frameworks, requirements definitions, and testing to solve a wide range of complex problems. You'll translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technology colleagues to provide expert advice and solutions within your area of specialization. Foster strong relationships with delivery teams, engineers, and product owners to drive project success.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay informed about current developments within your area of expertise, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to enhance our data migration processes.
- Solution Evaluation: Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to issues. Evaluate effort and value for proposed solutions to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Technical Implementation: Apply business solutions with a broad-level understanding of technology platforms and frameworks. Ensure robust implementation of data migration strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Verify information and carefully review and check the accuracy of own work using dependency identification processes in technology work. Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy.
- Project Prioritization: Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work, completing tasks with a focus on continuous progress and meeting deadlines.
- Clear Communication: Express ideas, business or technical requirements clearly and concisely in writing, using appropriate levels of outline and integration. Prepare comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Risk Management: Monitor program risks, issues, and scope proactively, ensuring appropriate levels of priority, visibility, and escalation. Identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Additional Duties: May perform other work responsibilities as directed by your leadership team.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in business analysis, process modeling, and process redesign. Strong understanding of technical dependencies and their impact on business operations.
