What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Tele-Recruiter at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of our donor recruitment efforts. Your daily activities will involve a dynamic mix of communication, technology, and problem-solving, all centered around our mission to maintain an adequate blood supply for our community. Here's what you can expect:
- Telephone Outreach: Contact blood donors by telephone using our advanced dialer system to recruit for blood donation drives. You'll be the friendly voice that inspires individuals to schedule appointments and continue their generous giving journey.
- Multi-System Navigation: Master the art of using multiple computer applications simultaneously. You'll work with our donor management systems to target appropriate blood drives, update donor records, and accurately record the outcomes of each call—all while maintaining exceptional speed and accuracy.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule donation appointments while providing a positive, professional service experience. Your goal is to maximize donor show rates by creating convenient, stress-free booking experiences.
- Scripted Excellence: Follow established processes and appropriate scripting for conducting donor calls. This ensures consistency in donor experience while allowing you to inject your own personality and compassion into every conversation.
- Production Excellence: Meet and exceed daily production standards, including the number of phone calls and appointments scheduled per hour. Your performance directly contributes to our ability to meet established blood collection goals.
- Donor Education: Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of donor eligibility criteria. You'll inform potential donors about their eligibility, answer questions, and help reduce deferral rates through accurate, empathetic communication.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain precise records of all donors and groups contacted, as well as appointments scheduled. Your attention to detail prevents errors, fosters positive customer relationships, and ensures sufficient donor availability.
- Lead Development: May develop new leads and implement innovative donor recruitment programs to expand our donor base and ensure an adequate, sustainable blood supply for our community.
- Inbound Call Management: Respond to or professionally transfer inbound calls to the appropriate party, ensuring every caller receives timely, accurate assistance.
- Community Engagement: May coordinate support of community and business donor groups to maintain a positive image of arenaflex and strengthen relationships with organizational partners.
Who We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum one year of telemarketing, customer service, or call center experience is required. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to use multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with donors from all backgrounds.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. You should naturally gravitate toward finding solutions rather than highlighting problems.
- Resilience: The ability to work with potentially difficult customers while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and composure.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment with evolving priorities and performance goals.

Comprehensive Training & Support
We invest heavily in your success. Your training journey with arenaflex is structured to ensure you feel confident and prepared from day one:
- Week 1: In-house training at our Charlotte facility. You'll learn our systems, processes, and the art of donor engagement. Training hours are Monday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, and Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Important: Attendance is mandatory throughout training—personal business must be handled outside of training hours.
- Week 2: Nesting/On-the-Job Training (remote). You'll begin taking calls from home while receiving real-time support and guidance. Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Week 3: Continued Nesting/OJT Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Friday marks your transition to production!
Flexible Work-From-Home Arrangement
After completing your initial training, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home office. To ensure success in this arrangement, you must:
- Maintain a dedicated, quiet workspace free from interruptions
- Treat your home work environment with the same professionalism as our physical office
- Be available during scheduled shift times without interruption
Stable, Predictable Schedule
Once training is complete, you'll enjoy a consistent full-time schedule that supports work-life balance:
- Sunday: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Monday through Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
This four-day workweek (with Sunday included) provides extended weekend time while maintaining full-time employment status.

COVID-19 Safety Commitment
