What You'll Do: A Day in the Life of Our Front End Pharmacy Technician

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll be an essential part of our medication dispensing process. Your primary responsibilities will center on order entry tasks and ensuring the seamless flow of prescription information through our pharmacy system. • Order Entry & Data Management: Accurately enter prescription information into our pharmacy system, ensuring all data is captured correctly and efficiently. Precision is paramount—every digit matters when it comes to patient safety.


• Customer Service Triage: Professionally triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and the specific information or response required. You'll be the first point of contact for resolving inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.


• Dosage Calculation & Verification: Calculate and/or verify correct dosages based on prescriptions, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and patient safety at all times.


• Narcotic Medication Coordination: Assist in ensuring timely return of narcotic prescriptions, maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements and security protocols.


• Drug Interaction Monitoring: Provide the dispensing pharmacist with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and any other items flagged by our computer system for review.
