Internal Communications Manager
Posted 2026-05-06The U.S. Internal Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping and delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communications that support our people strategy, business priorities, and ongoing integration and change management efforts in the United State. This role is primarily focused on Human Resources, Health & Safety, and operational communications, ensuring employees feel informed, connected, and aligned.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications, Egis Americas, this individual will partner closely with functional and regional U.S. teams to develop and execute communication strategies that reinforce culture, support employee engagement, and drive successful integration across the business.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Employee Communications
- Serve as the primary communications partner to HR, aligning messaging with business priorities, integration efforts, and organizational strategy.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR communications strategy that supports the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through development, engagement, and retention.
- Lead communication planning for key HR programs, including benefits, compensation cycles, performance management, and policy updates.
- Translate complex or sensitive HR topics into clear, concise, and employee-centered messaging that drives understanding and action.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align internal messaging with employer brand and reinforce Egis as an employer of choice.
- Design and deliver onboarding and integration communications for new hires and employees joining through acquisitions, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience.
- Support change communications related to organizational structure, role clarity, and workforce planning.
- Elevate employee recognition, culture initiatives, and engagement programs through compelling storytelling and targeted communications.
Health & Safety Communications
- Partner with Health & Safety leadership to develop and deliver communication strategies that reinforce a strong safety culture across the organization.
- Create and execute communication campaigns that promote safety awareness, compliance, and proactive risk prevention.
- Support incident communications and ensure timely, accurate, and sensitive messaging when safety events occur.
Operational Communications
- Partner with Operations and business leaders to support communication of key operational priorities, performance updates, and business initiatives.
- Support communications related to project delivery, operational changes, and process improvements.
- Create communication frameworks that enable leaders to cascade operational updates effectively and consistently.
Integration, Brand & Channel Management
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Communications, Egis Americas, to ensure alignment between internal communications, brand strategy, and external messaging—particularly during integration and brand transition.
- Develop communication toolkits, including talking points, FAQs, and guides, to enable consistent and effective communication across teams.
- Create and manage content across internal channels (intranet, email, town halls, video, collaboration platforms).
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging during integration and brand transition.
- Establish and track metrics to measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve reach, clarity, and engagement based on insights and feedback.
- Anticipate employee questions and concerns, proactively developing FAQs and messaging that build confidence during periods of change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 7 to 12+ years of experience in internal communications, with a strong focus on HR. communications and/or change management.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience advising senior leaders.
- Experience managing communication across geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in professional services, engineering, or consulting.
