What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an IT Business Analyst for our IT Offices Group, you'll be entrusted with managing critical infrastructure components that are essential to our daily operations. Here's what your role will entail:
Infrastructure Management
- Provide IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, and system planning for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical climate equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies and oversee break/fix services for server farm critical infrastructure
- Manage the design, implementation, and vendor support of electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor support, and cabling programs for communication rooms
- Oversee space management, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity to ensure optimal performance of all infrastructure systems
Technical Support & Coordination
- Provide IT support for our testing labs, equipping client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications
- Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms
- Deliver proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, labs, and data center equipment
- Offer remote incident management resolution for airport critical equipment
Project Management & Planning
- Lead project management for data center and remote communication room standard capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements
- Perform capital forecasting and project management for airport critical equipment lifecycle replacement
- Support corporate real estate projects that involve remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative, including on-site assessment reporting
- Manage the selection of IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, competitive pricing, and vendor contract compliance
Standards & Compliance
- Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure
- Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to change control activities
- Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations
- Maintain and support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to preserve integrity and service continuity of airport and grounds facilities underground fiber ring
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Here's what we're seeking:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Project Management experience within a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment
- Demonstrated experience with everyday operational requirements and the operation of production systems and equipment
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure
- Understanding of server farm technology and cooling systems
- Familiarity with UPS power systems and critical cooling capacity management
- Experience with remote communication room standards and infrastructure design
Essential Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints
- Ability to work flexible hours, including varying shifts, extended hours, and weekend work as required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Additional certifications in data center infrastructure management (e.g., CDCMP, CDFOM)
- Experience with airport or large-scale facility infrastructure projects

- Familiarity with fiber optic network maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
