Key Responsibilities
As an Information Analyst II at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that contribute to our operational excellence:
- Data Analysis and Insights: Build a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal teams and functional partners. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Process Optimization: Support the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and optimize financial processes across the organization. Work to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Business Workflow Support: Support internal business workflows such as management costing, workforce management, and resource planning. Ensure smooth coordination between departments.
- Data Systems Management: Work with various data systems and deliver ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, emergencies, and resolve metrics-based issues.
- Documentation: Document workflows related to key processes, data collection, and maintenance, including tracking important decisions and changes over time.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work with Data Architects and system engineers to support documentation and implementations of database designs.
- Automation and Innovation: Build strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help us automate and expand our capabilities.
- Executive Communication: Skilled in refining insights from data and synthesizing and creating compelling messaging for executive audiences.
- Stakeholder Support: Support Planning and Delivery Operations with ad-hoc requests from our partners and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Economics, Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data engineering, or technical fields.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience working with data and data manipulation software such as R, SQL, and Python. Familiarity with building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, or Smartsheet.
- Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational database design and functionality.
- Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data sets.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated self-starter with strong strategic thinking, unwavering judgment, and excellent guidance.
- Collaboration: Successful teamwork and time management skills.
