Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing multiple databases and ensuring accurate record-keeping across our Adult Education programs. Your primary duties will include:
- Database Management: Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our student information systems and ensuring all data is properly categorized, stored, and easily accessible.
- Grant Data Entry: Enter required grant data accurately into the National Reporting System (NRS) to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines. This responsibility requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data. You will ensure that all student records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date in compliance with program requirements.
- Data Security Compliance: Maintain required security of student data in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Protecting sensitive student information is paramount in this role, and you will receive comprehensive training on data privacy protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Complete regular error checks and data clean-up in the NRS to ensure accurate reporting. You will proactively identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Stakeholder Support: Ensure data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders. You will work closely with program administrators, educators, and external partners to provide accurate information when needed.
- Task Organization: Organize and prioritize tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines. Strong time management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Student Outcome Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate student outcomes including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments. You will help track student progress and generate reports on program effectiveness.
