About the Role

As a Senior Finance Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing professional recommendations and guidance that help steer business selections across multiple markets. This role is chargeable for delivering powerful, timely, and accurate Annual Operating Plans (AOP), forecasts, Five-Year Plans (FYP), and close processes throughout a group of markets with a focus on advertising, product development, and innovative spend. You will also provide essential evaluation and reporting to assist in delivering franchise strategies.

This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom, offering flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to a global finance team. You'll be working with cross-functional stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, collaborating with marketing teams, product development departments, and senior leadership to drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities


  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Control the overall advertising EMEA FP&A system and calendar. Responsible for planning and tracking advertising spend by market, spend kind, franchise, and store.

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Control the shipping of the zone near method, including timely and accurate reporting of near function to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Budget Management: Control all key quarterly, annual, and long-term forecast deliverables with precision and attention to detail.

  • Process Improvement: Broaden new marketing tracker and reporting techniques to redefine and enhance present finance processes.

  • Strategic Support: Provide ad hoc assistance to the Senior Finance Supervisor and Finance Director as required in different regions of the business outside of advertising.

  • Commercial Analysis: Prepare analysis at the effectiveness of spend for key advertising campaigns, including postmortems and insights of overall performance.

  • Business Partnership: Guide the numerous marketing teams with monetary queries, methods, and spend appraisals to optimize return on investment.

  • Stakeholder Management: Control and supply other advert hoc initiatives and requests within the scope of the role while managing competing priorities.

Required Experience and Professional Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • Professional Certification: Completely qualified in Accounting or Finance (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) – this is essential.

  • Financial Experience: Experience in both FP&A and financial reporting is required.

  • Industry Background: Financial support of a marketing function is highly preferred.

  • Sector Experience: Experience of working in the retail, licensing zone, or big media enterprise is desirable.

  • Commercial Acumen: Experience of commercial management to a high standard and working with a local finance and commercial head office.
