We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Billing Customer Experience Team Lead to join our Cloud Campus team. As a key member of our medical billing department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and patients, ensuring seamless interactions and timely resolution of issues. Your expertise in denial management, pre-reg, auth, and patient financial contact center functions will be instrumental in driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • *Responsibilities**

As a Medical Billing Customer Experience Team Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing superior service and attention to detail in Pre-Reg, Auth, AR Denials, and Patient Financial Contact center functions
  • Supporting the execution and achievement of functional areas and company goals, ensuring better care for our patients and front-line staff
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues related to all tasks and assignments, promoting a culture of transparency and open communication
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries, including contacting insurance companies and addressing patient inquiries
  • Utilizing software and company systems to source, obtain, process, audit, and analyze standard data reporting and presenting
  • Organizing and executing tasks and activities with urgency and in accordance with managers' delegated assignments
  • Resolving issues related to Auth/Pre-Reg, AR Denials, patient and billing inquiries, while seeking leadership guidance for non-routine inquiries or escalated concerns
  • Delivering excellent customer service to patients and insurance representatives
  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in denial management/AR Collection, Pre-Reg, Auth for US Healthcare process, with EPIC experience preferred
  • Proficiency in EPIC software and Denial Management, Pre-Reg, Auth, and PFCC
  • A strong understanding of common healthcare industry terminology, practices, and procedures regarding billing and reimbursement
  • Knowledge of how Government/Commercial payers reimburse
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to use a Windows-based computer system and common business software found in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • The ability to work independently to effectively and efficiently perform assigned duties
  • A high level of ethics, courtesy, and professionalism
  • The ability to multi-task, establish, and meet deadlines
  • Typing/data entry skills at a minimum of 40 wpm
