Responsibilities

  • Fact checking information for news releases and other materials
  • Entering news articles and graphics into Penn State news database
  • Maintaining list of media contacts and sending news releases
  • Keeping track of college publicity
  • Logistics for special events and video / photo shoots

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Basic graphic design knowledge
  • Reliable access to a mobile phone
  • Dependable transportation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
  • Experience with creating social media posts
  • Photography and videography experience
