Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Information Expert to become a central member of our analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive customer support reports within our Business Intelligence platforms. You will analyze diverse datasets, including workforce management forecasting and planning metrics, vendor performance indicators, and customer experience measurements to identify trends and deliver executive-level updates that drive strategic decision-making.

You will be instrumental in providing customer support to our vendor partners, triaging customer support data integrity issues with engineering teams, and ensuring the accurate and effective use of workforce management and operational data across the customer service function.

Key Responsibilities

As a crucial member of our analytics team, you will take ownership of the following responsibilities:


  • Dashboard Development and Maintenance: Responsible for the creation and maintenance of global customer support dashboards and reports for both internal stakeholders and vendor partners within various Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau

  • Data Visualization Migration: Partner with the arenaflex Data Visualization team to migrate ad-hoc Tableau dashboards into arenaflex's custom data visualization instruments, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced reporting capabilities

  • Data Analysis and Pattern Recognition: Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in customer service data, providing meaningful insights that inform business strategy

  • Vendor Support and Data Integrity: Provide level one support to vendor partners and data consumers, collaborating closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of data integrity issues

  • Training and Enablement: Educate and train end-users on how to most effectively utilize and interpret reports and data, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions independently

  • Documentation and Best Practices: Create and maintain up-to-date documentation, including data dictionaries, report definitions, and best practices to ensure consistency and accessibility across the organization

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner intimately with various cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, business processes, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and deliver periodic executive-level reports on status, insights, and trends to help inform and guide critical business decisions

  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement comprehensive and consistent strategies, tools, and processes related to dashboard maintenance and reporting support

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:


  • A year of college education in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Information Technology, or other demonstrated expertise in a quantitative field; alternatively, comparable work experience will be accepted

  • Four or more years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence, preferably in a customer service or related operational setting

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to drive operational improvements

  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity

  • Strong project and program management skills, with a track record of process improvement and the ability to influence stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms while considering diverse audiences to drive results

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and database management systems

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Experience in workforce management analytics within contact center environments
