Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that will identify, predict, and prescribe answers to critical issues before they impact our operations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable models using machine learning, deep learning, and other advanced technologies. Your work will be instrumental in preventing system outages, pinpointing errors, and enhancing the overall efficiency, reliability, and performance of arenaflex's IT infrastructure.

This is a part-time position offering flexible remote work arrangements, allowing you to contribute your expertise while maintaining the flexibility you need. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Deploy AI Solutions: Build and scale artificial intelligence and machine learning models that predict and analyze data across hardware and software systems within our large server infrastructure to prevent outages and identify errors.


• Statistical Analysis: Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed decision-making.


• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work jointly with team members using an integrated approach to tackle innovative and complex challenges, sharing knowledge and best practices.


• System Integration: Independently support processes related to the deployment of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions.


• Design and Development: Take responsibility for the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of AI/ML solutions.


• Data Pipeline Optimization: Enhance existing data pipelines by exploring unstructured data sources and engineering new features that improve model performance.


• Team Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical support and expertise to the broader team, mentoring colleagues and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a solid foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate both technical excellence and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• Proven track record of analyzing and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, or customized solutions that have delivered significant business impact while solving complex problems.


• Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by analyzing unstructured data sources and engineering innovative features.


• Ability to provide technical support and expertise to broader teams, acting as a subject matter expert.


• Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field; or equivalent professional experience.
