About the Role
As an Account Manager for our Third-Party Marketplace division, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our seller ecosystem and enhancing product selection for customers across the United States. This position is chartered with acquiring, developing, and managing high-value partnerships that bring new product categories, competitive pricing, and unparalleled convenience to our customers.
You'll be responsible for identifying product selection gaps, executing go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players, and maximizing our platform's product assortment while growing our customer base. Key Responsibilities
As a core member of our Marketplace Development team, you will:
- Develop Deep Market Insights: Build a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality trends, global market developments, and competitive activities. You'll continuously monitor competitor efforts and identify emerging opportunities in the e-commerce landscape.
- Drive Seller Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, industry events, and compelling presentations. You'll be the face of arenaflex for prospective sellers and help them understand the value of joining our marketplace.
- Enable Seller Success: Guide sellers through the onboarding process by sharing best practices for online selling, including data-driven insights that help merchants achieve high standards of delivery, exceptional customer experience, and their business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor challenges. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned sellers, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Execute go-to-market strategies for launching new product categories and attracting key marketplace players to join our e-commerce ecosystem.
- Performance Optimization: Use data analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize seller performance metrics across the platform.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 1 to 3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets using consultative and solutions-focused sales processes
- Strong interest in selling emerging products/services into new markets
- Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly
- Proficient working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Exceptional business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills
- Advanced analytical abilities and comfort with quantitative data analysis
- Polished communication skills—including speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, rapid-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following experiences would be highly valued:
- 2+ years of E-commerce experience
- 3+ years of experience in the Consumer Electronics sector
- 3+ years of direct sales experience
- Experience with marketplace platforms or digital marketplace ecosystems
- Background in startup or high-growth environment experience
- Familiarity with sales CRM tools and pipeline management
