Our client is a forward-thinking agricultural technology company seeking a dedicated and innovative Remote Agronomist to join their growing team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise in crop science and data analysis to support farmers across various regions. You will be responsible for providing remote agronomic advice, utilizing precision agriculture technologies, and helping clients optimize crop yields and sustainability. The ideal candidate is passionate about the future of farming, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities: Provide expert remote agronomic advice and recommendations to farmers on crop management practices, soil health, and pest/disease control. Analyze data from various sources, including soil samples, weather patterns, satellite imagery, and sensor data, to inform recommendations. Utilize precision agriculture tools and software to develop site-specific management plans. Educate clients on best practices for sustainable farming and resource management. Assist in the development and implementation of new agronomic technologies and services. Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to crop health and production. Collaborate with internal R&D, sales, and support teams to ensure seamless client experience. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on crop performance and recommendations for clients. Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and innovations in agronomy and precision agriculture. Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the remote team. Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a closely related agricultural field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in agronomy or crop consulting, with a strong understanding of plant physiology and soil science. Proven experience with precision agriculture technologies, including GPS, VRT, remote sensing, and data analytics platforms. Proficiency in agricultural software and data analysis tools (e.g., John Deere Operations Center, Climate FieldView, ArcGIS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work setting. Familiarity with a wide range of crops and agricultural regions is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. Passion for sustainable agriculture and advancing farming technologies.
