Key Responsibilities


As a valued member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with pharmacy customers who contact arenaflex through various communication channels, primarily via inbound phone calls, but also through email, live chat, and messaging platforms. You'll be the friendly voice that pet parents trust when they need assistance with their pet's health needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Research and analyze customer issues to determine the most appropriate solutions. This includes investigating prescription discrepancies, addressing billing concerns, troubleshooting technical issues with our website or mobile app, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prescription Management: Assist customers with prescription transfers, refill requests, and insurance processing. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to verify prescriptions, confirm patient information, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Exceeding Customer Expectations: Go above and beyond to "wow" our customers by engaging with empathy, thinking critically about their needs, and providing personalized solutions.   • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to high safety and regulatory standards at all times, particularly when handling sensitive patient health information (PHI) and controlled substances.   • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of arenaflex's product catalog, including prescription medications, over-the-counter treatments, pet foods, and supplies. Use this knowledge to provide accurate recommendations and answer customer questions confidently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance our customer service processes, suggest improvements to workflows, and contribute to team training initiatives. Your insights will help us continuously elevate the customer experience.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Be flexible with your schedule, including the ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to support our customers during peak periods. Our team operates 7 days a week to ensure pet parents always have access to the support they need.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years working in a customer-focused environment. This could include retail, hospitality, healthcare, or any other industry where you regularly interacted with customers and resolved their concerns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly, listen actively, and maintain a professional and empathetic tone even in challenging situations.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze situations quickly, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. You should be comfortable making decisions independently while knowing when to escalate issues.

  • Background Check Clearance: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which is required for obtaining a Kentucky Pharmacy Technician (Rx Tech) license. This position involves handling sensitive pharmacy-related responsibilities.
  • Kentucky Residency: Must be a resident of Kentucky to qualify for this remote position, as this role requires licensing specific to the state of Kentucky.
