Remote Event Operations & Logistics Manager

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Event Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of various virtual and in-person events. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will be responsible for coordinating all logistical aspects of events, including vendor management, budget tracking, and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, a deep understanding of virtual event platforms, and the ability to adapt to evolving event technologies. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed event timelines, managing registration processes, coordinating speaker and attendee communication, and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise. You will also be involved in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory for event materials, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. A key part of this role involves creating comprehensive post-event reports, analyzing key performance indicators, and identifying areas for improvement in future events. Excellent communication skills are paramount, as you will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders from a distance. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in an independent work setting and can effectively manage their time and workload without direct supervision. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 5 years of progressive experience in event planning and logistics. Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools is essential.
