Join arenaflex: Transforming Healthcare Customer Experience

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your communication skills can truly shine? If so, arenaflex invites you to join our exceptional team as a Remote Healthcare Member Services Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between healthcare members and the quality care they deserve, helping individuals navigate the complex world of health benefits while ensuring they receive the maximum value from their coverage.

At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of quality healthcare. We are committed to transforming the way members interact with their health benefits, and our Member Services team is at the forefront of this mission. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to impact thousands of lives by guiding members through their healthcare journey, helping them access preventive care, understand their benefits, and make informed decisions about their health.

What You'll Do: Your Role as a Healthcare Advocate

As a Remote Healthcare Member Services Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a multifaceted role that combines customer service excellence with healthcare advocacy. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Appointment Scheduling Excellence: Manage both outbound and inbound calls to schedule doctor appointments, ensuring members receive timely access to healthcare services. You will work diligently to find convenient appointment times that align with member needs and preferences.
  • Health Needs Screening Support: Proactively assist members in completing required Health Needs Screenings. You will serve as their guide through the process, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring they understand the importance of these screenings for their overall health and eligibility for enhanced benefits.
  • Benefits Eligibility & Enrollment: Help members navigate the payment process to become eligible for enhanced benefits. This includes explaining premium requirements, assisting with payment arrangements, and ensuring members understand how payments unlock additional coverage options.
  • Benefits Education & Outreach: Influence members to take advantage of additional benefits available to them by providing comprehensive education on enhanced services. You will become an expert in our full range of offerings and confidently recommend preferred providers who deliver exceptional care.
  • Appropriate Care Utilization: Educate members on the appropriate use of Emergency Departments versus urgent care or primary care options. Help them understand the impact of unnecessary ER visits on their benefits, finances, and the broader healthcare system while guiding them toward more cost-effective care options.
  • Barrier Identification & Resolution: Identify and overcome barriers that prevent members from completing needed health screenings, obtaining necessary services, or making payments to secure enhanced benefits. Your problem-solving skills will be key to ensuring no member falls through the cracks.
  • Member Profile Analysis: Review each member profile prior to outreach to identify areas of opportunity. This includes analyzing additional benefits available for specific members and identifying opportunities for members to become eligible for additional benefits they may not be aware of.
  • Quality Improvement Participation: Actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure department and company goals are met and exceeded. Your insights and feedback will help shape best practices and improve overall team performance.
  • Data Analysis & Strategy: Review and analyze data from call reports to make adjustments as needed to your call approach. Use data-driven insights to personalize member interactions and improve engagement outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Act as a secondary resource for both Member Services and Provider Services call centers, providing expertise and guidance when complex issues arise.
