Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and management of cloud resources in Azure, including detailed application setup, deployments, configurations, and optimization/tuning
- Administer Azure resources by adjusting Cloud services sizing and subscription based on Cloud Compute, Storage, Database and Network utilization
- Coordinate with the enterprise, infrastructure, application architecture and development teams to design, test and implement both cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions
- Provide technology solutions that support business needs, technical requirements and established IT standards and guidelines
- Review implementations against established standards and best practices and identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement solutions and procedures that minimize cost, redundancy, manual effort, and rework
Experience/Education Required
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related subject; or equivalent real-world experience
- Experience administering servers, databases or cloud platforms
- Awareness of Azure concepts and topology, including
