As a Senior Data Architect at arenaflex, you'll join a dynamic team responsible for our end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) program. With millions of customer surveys received annually across our consumer, business, and service provider segments, you'll play a pivotal role in building the data infrastructure that powers actionable customer insights. What You'll Do

As the Senior Data Architect for our Voice of Customer program, you will be instrumental in transforming and innovating our customer feedback methodology. Your technical expertise will directly impact how we understand and serve millions of customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Architectural Leadership: Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across all customer feedback channels.

  • Platform Development: Lead the development and maintenance of our new Voice of the Customer technique, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with our survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics.

  • Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy.

  • Business Collaboration: Work closely with application teams to define, build, and capture business requirements, translating complex business needs into technical deliverables.

  • Data Platform Expertise: Grow your knowledge of Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this expertise to transform data within the Cornerstone big data platform.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use case levels, implementing best practices for data validation and integrity.

  • Performance Optimization: Offer guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.

  • Automation & Innovation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency across the organization.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique.

  • Consumer Story Analysis: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and build automation tools that drive business value.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting languages with a minimum of 3+ years in data-driven projects.

  • Delivery Experience: Proven understanding of Agile methodologies with experience delivering small increments of products at regular intervals to business groups.

  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex data challenges.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms

  • Knowledge of Cornerstone platform integration

  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry

  • Understanding of customer experience measurement methodologies

  • Familiarity with real-time data processing architectures

  • Experience with cloud-based big data solutions
