The Role: Senior Manager FP&A – E-Commerce & Digital Technology

We're seeking a strategic financial leader to serve as the primary financial partner for our rapidly growing E-Commerce IT capability. This is a high-impact position that sits at the intersection of technology investment, digital transformation, and financial stewardship. You'll be responsible for developing, coordinating, and analyzing our annual planning process, ongoing financial forecasts, and comprehensive five-year strategic plans.

In this role, you'll develop sophisticated tools and reports that provide actionable insights to business leaders, enabling data-driven decision-making across our digital and e-commerce initiatives. You'll work intimately with senior leadership and be a key contributor to strategic decisions in the e-commerce IT space, ensuring that every investment aligns with our overall business objectives and delivers measurable returns.

What You'll Achieve at arenaflex:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the creation of comprehensive financial strategies for the e-commerce IT business in close collaboration with senior executives, ensuring alignment between technology investments and business outcomes.
• Financial Strategy Development: Aid in the development of financial strategies, plans, and processes that improve profitability and drive cost efficiencies within the e-commerce IT function.
• Performance Analysis: Work closely with the e-commerce IT team to consolidate plans and estimates while analyzing actual financial performance and emerging trends that impact our digital operations.
• Digital Transformation Partnership: Serve as a key partner in developing and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives as arenaflex transitions to a new agile operating model and rebalances its contractor and internal resource mix.
• Process Excellence: Implement tools, processes, and reporting mechanisms that enhance financial accuracy and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
• Capital Planning Leadership: Drive the capital planning process by partnering with our PMO and Finance teams, including approval and post-implementation analysis with the goal of optimizing financial resource allocation for digital and e-commerce initiatives.
• Financial Integration: Collaborate with e-commerce and finance partners to integrate digital, e-commerce, and IT financial plans and estimates into the overall financial framework.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Lead special financial analysis as directed, with specific focus on digital, e-commerce, and IT finance-related topics.
• Team Leadership: Provide supervision and guidance to Financial Analyst(s) within the FP&A team, ensuring their work aligns with digital, e-commerce, and IT finance requirements.

• Retail Financial Support: Experience in a financial support role within a retail category management environment is highly beneficial and will accelerate your success in this position.
• Technology Finance: Experience with agile working models and/or technology support and related financials is preferred – understanding how technology investments translate to business value is crucial.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred and demonstrates commitment to professional growth.
• Analytical Excellence: Advanced analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret findings, communicate effectively, and make strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in advanced Excel and other financial modeling tools; comfort with data visualization and business intelligence platforms.
• Influence & Communication: Ability to influence senior leaders through compelling financial analyses and exceptional interpersonal skills that translate complex data into actionable insights.
