Position Overview
Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming how we measure and optimize advertising effectiveness? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at arenaflex Connect. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in reimagining and scaling our omnichannel marketing measurement capabilities.
You'll be responsible for developing sophisticated measurement methodologies that quantify the true impact of our advertising efforts across multiple channels and consumer touchpoints. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions, drive business growth, and shape the future of retail media advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Enhance Measurement Solutions: Design, build, and improve comprehensive measurement frameworks for display advertising, including sales lift analysis, synthetic control groups, ghost advertising, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strategic Vision and Roadmap: Define the vision and strategy for display advertising measurement methodologies. Leverage your domain expertise, industry best practices, and market opportunities to construct compelling business cases and establish ambitious yet achievable objectives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Build and nurture collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners. Align priorities with business goals, effectively communicate product roadmaps, and secure buy-in from executive leadership.
- Product Management Excellence: Oversee product roadmaps, balance business and technical requirements, determine optimal rollout strategies, and proactively manage risks across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Continuously engage with senior management and diverse stakeholder groups to ensure strategic alignment, manage interdependencies, and maintain clear communication channels throughout project lifecycles.
- Communication and Storytelling: Translate complex modeling techniques into accessible language and develop compelling narratives that connect sophisticated analytical results with real-world business problems and opportunities.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data technology solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization.
- Data Integration and Insights: Integrate disparate data sources and leverage modern analytics best practices to deliver integrated, actionable insights to partners and senior leadership regarding virtual advertising optimization.

Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in data science, measurement, advertising strategy and analytics, Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, or related fields.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, or R, with solid database knowledge. Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Measurement Expertise: Demonstrated experience building measurement solutions including sales lift analysis, ghost advertising, Market Mix Modeling (MMM), and multi-touch attribution models. Extensive experience with predictive modeling algorithms and statistical analysis techniques.
- Project Management: Strong project management abilities, including experience managing technical resources and handling multiple priorities and milestones simultaneously.
- Fast-Paced Environment: A genuine passion for working in a fast-paced, agile environment where innovation and speed are paramount.
- Collaborative Mindset: A collaborative attitude coupled with an insatiable curiosity and desire to continuously learn and improve.

Preferred Qualifications

- End-to-End Product Delivery: Experience in end-to-end product delivery, including self-serve platforms, design, customer experiences, automation, optimizations, and data analytics.
- Platform Experience: Familiarity with building and scaling self-service platforms that empower internal and external users.

Annual Salary Range: $160,000 - $230,000
