About the Customer Success Group

The Customer Success Group (CSG) at arenaflex is the heartbeat of our customer relationships. This organization is responsible for comprehensive customer lifecycle management, including onboarding, product usage optimization, standard process development, training delivery, customer support, professional services, partner certification, and cultivating long-term strategic relationships with our valued customers. Within CSG, the Customer Intelligence team operates at the intersection of data, analytics, and customer advocacy, building innovative data products, conducting deep data analysis, engineering robust data pipelines, and developing sophisticated data science models that provide actionable intelligence around customer usage, adoption, and engagement behaviors.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional professional to serve as our Strategic Senior Manager - Data & Analytics Product Lead for Customer Adoption & Success. In this pivotal role, you will be part of the Self-Service Experiences team within the Success Pillar of our Data and Analytics organization. You will be responsible for building and executing the product strategy and roadmap that supports the critical data and intelligence needs of our business collaborators throughout the Success organization.

This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with numerous business teams on projects that span a broad array of data domains and technologies. You will own the strategy and roadmap for providing the data and insights needed to inform key business decisions and improve operational processes. Your work will involve both managing the backlog of collaborator requests and proactively identifying and proposing automated, self-service solutions that empower the business with data-driven insights.

You will collaborate closely with our world-class Data Engineering team to design and implement your product strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maximum business impact. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technical execution, and customer success—making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

As our Strategic Senior Manager - Data & Analytics Product Lead, you will:


  • Lead Collaborator Relationships: Manage strategic relationships with business collaborators, including backlog management and prioritization of their requests. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for data and analytics needs, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

  • Drive Product Delivery: Manage sprint cadence including user story creation, recurring standups, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely product delivery. You'll oversee the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

  • Ensure Data Quality: Support hygiene around performance reviews, critical metrics, and quarterly planning. Establish robust processes to test and validate data, ensuring high data integrity and quality standards across all deliverables.

  • Develop Technical Roadmaps: Experience in developing technical roadmaps and prototypes, exploring new technologies, and collaborating with a global team. You'll stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative solutions to the table.

  • Deep Product Expertise: Understand the breadth and depth of arenaflex product capabilities and how customer usage is captured through metadata. Leverage this knowledge to identify opportunities for enhanced data capture and insights.

  • Partner with Product Specialists: Collaborate with arenaflex product specialists to document and evaluate required data and information. Capture technical requirements for data capture and work with data engineers and data scientists to integrate these requirements into internal solutions.

  • Bridge Business and Technology: Act as the liaison between product teams, data teams, internal development teams, and business collaborators. Wear both the business hat and technical hat to deliver solutions that fit business needs while building for scale.

  • Mentor and Grow Teams: Mentor and collaborate with other team members to grow arenaflex's internal domain and data knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

  • Lead Requirements Gathering: Lead requirements gathering sessions and maintain comprehensive business and technical requirements documents for all analytics projects. Ensure clarity and alignment across all stakeholders.

  • Drive Process Improvement: Examine and analyze how your work enables arenaflex to better support internal stakeholders in driving and scaling customer success. Identify and execute on new process improvement opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Extensive Experience: 8+ years of experience in a combination of data engineering, data analysis, product analytics, or an equivalent role that has prepared you for senior-level responsibility.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. We're looking for someone with strong foundational knowledge in technology and data principles.

  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, including the ability to implement, instruct, and modify practices as appropriate for team and organizational needs.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level SQL skills, combined with experience using distributed data tools such as Snowflake, Spark, Hive, Pig, or MapReduce. Experience with Splunk, Python/R, and other BI tools is a significant plus.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex data into relevant business insights that drive decision-making and create measurable business value.

  • Visualization Skills: Experience working with BI/Visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, Domo, Einstein Analytics, or similar platforms.

  • Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach challenges methodically and develop innovative solutions.

  • Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both C-level executives and technical teams.

  • Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with products, and contribute cross-functionally across diverse teams and initiatives.

  • Customer Advocacy: Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, with the ability to navigate and succeed in challenging customer situations.

  • Background in data quality management to support cross-functional business teams
