Semsee is building the only independent digital platform that covers the full small commercial insurance lifecycle — quoting, binding, and policy administration — across both admitted and E&S lines. Our Managed Access Program (MAP) is a technology-powered wholesale brokerage that gives retail agents instant access to 75+ carrier markets through a single platform. Agents enter risk information once and get comparative quotes in minutes, not days.

MAP is our primary growth engine, and we’re investing aggressively in building a dedicated sales organization for the first time. Backed by Adir Ventures, we have the capital, the technology, and the carrier relationships. What we’re adding now is the go-to-market muscle.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive premium growth by acquiring new retail agent relationships and expanding submissions from our existing agency base. This is a national role — we’ll assign territory based on your background and market opportunity.

This is not a role where you inherit a book and maintain it. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the sales function at a company with proven product-market fit, real technology differentiation, and aggressive growth targets. You’ll be among the first dedicated sales hires, with a direct line to leadership and real influence on how we go to market. You will report to our Head of Sales (search underway), with interim reporting to the CEO.

This role is ideal for someone who has sold wholesale or MGA solutions to retail agents, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to be part of building something — not just running something.

Compensation

Base salary of $50,000 plus performance-based variable compensation tied to premium production targets. Target total compensation of $150,000–$200,000 for on-target performance. Equity participation and benefits included.
