What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of transforming raw data into strategic insights. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Data Source Identification: Identify and compare potential data resources from both internal and external sources. Implement strategies for obtaining and integrating data from multiple disparate sources while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility. You'll work with various data formats and structures to create unified, reliable data repositories.
- Understanding Business Context: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements. Translate complex business requirements into clear data requirements and develop a deep understanding of the enterprise and competitive landscape. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
- Technical Problem Formulation: Formulate technical solutions for data-related challenges. Develop and implement algorithms for data analysis and modeling. Evaluate and select appropriate software tools, frameworks, and technologies to solve complex business problems efficiently.
- Data Visualization: Design and execute effective data visualization techniques for presenting complex information in accessible formats. Develop and implement powerful dashboards and reports using industry-leading tools like Tableau and Power BI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful visualizations that drive informed business decisions.
- Data Quality Management: Plan and lead initiatives to ensure data quality and integrity. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures. Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact business operations.
- Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory analyses to generate insights and identify patterns in large datasets. Develop and implement statistical analyses and predictive models. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner that influences strategic decision-making.
Advanced Analytics & Strategic Impact
At arenaflex, your analytical expertise will directly shape business strategy. You'll conduct in-depth research on key drivers of transportation dynamic optimization and data quality. Working with large, disparate datasets, you'll measure critical business KPIs and conduct strategic analyses to inform essential business decisions. Your data visualization work will help monitor and quantify the effect of operational changes and address unique business challenges, using data to influence strategic decision-making across the organization.
You'll also engage with team members and cross-functional partners on a continuous basis, establishing credibility and driving change. By analyzing stakeholder needs and partnering with them to share relevant information, you'll help drive technique optimization and collaboration throughout the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline with four years of experience in an analytics-related field, OR
- A Master's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline with two years of experience in an analytics-related field
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
- Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling
- Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Tableau Prep, or Power BI
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Big Query or similar services
- Familiarity with data pipeline development and ETL processes
- Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black) is a plus
Preferred Skills & Competencies
You'll sweep us off our feet if you have:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Tableau, and Dataiku
- Strong exploratory data analysis abilities with the capability to make analytical, data-driven recommendations and solutions
- Project management experience with end-to-end ownership of initiatives from conception to completion
- Compelling, persuasive oral and written communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate regularly changing requirements while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Experience with both cloud service and local server environments
