Our Data and Analytics team is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic group. What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure. You'll work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment where your technical expertise and strategic thinking will directly influence the success of our analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Data Warehouse Development: Analyze, design, develop, and deliver Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions within defined timelines while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Pipeline Architecture: Create robust ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow to efficiently process and integrate data from multiple sources across the organization.
- Business Intelligence Solutions: Build ad-hoc reports and dashboards using Tableau to support data-savvy users and provide automation capabilities that enhance operational efficiency.
- Platform Maintenance: Design, develop, maintain, and support our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform using various data and BI tools, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders and IT resources to gather requirements, understand business needs, and resolve requests efficiently and effectively.
- Communication: Present technical and business topics in a comprehensive 360-degree manner, utilizing written, verbal, and presentation materials as appropriate for diverse audiences.
- Standards and Compliance: Develop, support, and recommend improvements to applications in the areas of standards, procedures, compliance, and quality assurance practices. Participate actively in design and code walkthroughs to ensure best practices.
- Release Management: Take ownership of the release process, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
- Prioritization: Prioritize work based on highest business impact, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a professional with proven experience in data engineering and business intelligence who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Technical Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience creating data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow is required. You should have a strong track record of building and maintaining scalable data solutions.
- Database Expertise: Experience designing DataMarts, Data Warehouses, and database objects within relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Vertica is required.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong capability in SQL and advanced query writing is required. You should be comfortable optimizing complex queries and working with large datasets.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and deliver against close deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Dashboard Creation: Substantial experience creating executive-level dashboards and reports for C-level leadership using Tableau or similar BI tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud data platforms and big data technologies
- Knowledge of data modeling best practices (Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault methodologies)
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics
- Background in machine learning integration with data pipelines
- Experience in high-growth technology companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
