About the Role
As the Senior Online Chat Marketing Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be instrumental in shaping our digital customer engagement strategy. You'll own the end-to-end development and execution of our online chat program, working cross-functionally with technology, operations, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences that drive satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
This role sits at the heart of our digital transformation efforts. You'll be responsible for building upon our existing chat roadmap and socializing a comprehensive 12-18 month strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives. Your work will directly influence how we engage with customers across digital channels, making this a high-impact position with significant visibility across the organization.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Lead Strategic Planning: Build upon our chat roadmap and develop a comprehensive 12-18 month strategy that addresses evolving customer needs, technological advancements, and business opportunities. You'll socialize this strategy across executive leadership and key stakeholders to secure buy-in and resources.
- Develop Engagement Programs: Create, refine, and execute online chat and customer engagement recommendations that enhance the customer journey. You'll leverage data-driven insights to design experiences that delight customers and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Analyze Performance: Manage the monthly online chat transcript and metrics analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. You'll translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategy and tactical decisions.
- Build Service Programs: Define and build an online chat service program that meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You'll establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks that ensure consistency and excellence across all digital interactions.
- Ensure Compliance: Manage chat script maintenance and compliance, ensuring all customer communications meet regulatory requirements, legal standards, and brand guidelines. You'll work closely with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risk while delivering engaging experiences.
- Vendor Management: Build and manage vendor relationships that support our chat program. You'll evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables meet our quality and performance standards.
- Share Insights: Socialize chat program insights and results across the organization, presenting findings to leadership and cross-functional teams. You'll be the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for improvements and innovations.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5-7 Years of Experience: In-depth understanding of online sales and marketing tactics, online chats, customer engagement, and online customer service tactics. You should have a proven track record of developing and managing digital engagement programs that deliver measurable results.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, build cross-functional relationships, and manage risk. You should be comfortable operating at both tactical and strategic levels, with the ability to switch contexts fluidly.
- Analytical Skills: Experience in customer experience design, web analytics, and A/B split testing. You should be comfortable working with data, drawing insights, and making decisions based on evidence rather than assumption.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; BA in eCommerce or Web Marketing preferred. An MBA is an added advantage that demonstrates your commitment to professional growth and strategic thinking.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to engage with stakeholders, attend conferences, and participate in training sessions.

Compensation & Benefits

- Competitive Base Salary: $85,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Performance Bonus: $5,000 - $10,000 annual bonus opportunity, rewarding individual and organizational performance.
