What to Expect: Program Rotations and Development Opportunities

Our Actuarial Development Program is structured around four comprehensive rotations, each immersing you in a strategic business area and helping you gain valuable exposure to the following key domains:

• Risk Assessment: Understand the concept of specific risks and present consequences of analysis to management. You'll learn how to identify, analyze, and communicate about various risks affecting the organization.


• Rate Filing: Organize and analyze filing data, then prepare and submit required presentations for regulatory filings. This rotation provides hands-on experience with compliance and regulatory processes.


• Reserve Analysis: Analyze claim data and monitor reserve levels for appropriateness, demonstrating an understanding of actuarial reserving methods and issues. You'll develop strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.


• Planning and Forecasting: Provide technical support and analysis for planning, estimating, and reporting processes. Learn how to translate data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

As an Actuarial Development Program Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Participating actively in all four program rotations, gaining comprehensive exposure to various actuarial functions


• Conducting detailed risk assessment analyses and presenting findings to senior management


• Assisting in rate filing processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements


• Performing reserve analysis and monitoring claim data to ensure accuracy and appropriateness


• Contributing to planning and forecasting initiatives with robust technical analysis


• Supporting pricing strategies and benefit design recommendations


• Developing and maintaining Excel models, databases, and analytical tools

Required Qualifications

• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States. Note: arenaflex provides work visa sponsorship for this position, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs for qualified international candidates
