Caddy Moving is a fast-growing company in the moving and labor services space, and they are seeking a driven Business Development Representative. The role involves owning outbound prospecting and leveraging AI tools to enhance sales efforts and exceed targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and reach out to prospective business partners and clients in the moving and home services industry
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach through cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn, and other creative channels
- Leverage AI tools to streamline prospecting, personalize outreach at scale, draft communications, research leads, and analyze data to prioritize high-value opportunities
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings with key decision-makers
- Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategy, messaging, and go-to-market playbooks
- Represent Caddy at networking events, trade shows, and industry meetups
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly outreach and revenue targets
- Stay on top of emerging AI tools and sales technologies, bringing new ideas to the team on how to sell smarter
Skills
- 1–3 years in sales, business development, or a similar outbound role (B2B preferred)
- Moderate to advanced proficiency with AI tools—you actively use platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar for research, writing, data analysis, and workflow automation
- A track record of finding creative, tech-forward solutions to outperform targets—not just grinding harder, but working smarter
- A relentless work ethic—you don't shy away from rejection and always come back stronger
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Self-starter with a high motor who takes initiative without constant oversight
- Curious, adaptable, and always learning—you're the person who figures out the new tool before anyone else on the team
- Based in or willing to commute to Schaumburg, Oak Brook, and Chicago, IL
- Experience building AI-assisted sales workflows or automations
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar
- Interest in the moving, logistics, or home services industry
