Position Overview


We are currently looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to fill the role of Call Center Representative at arenaflex. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our patient services team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate data entry, seamless prescription processing, and exceptional customer support. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, with potential remote work options available for qualified candidates in the Orlando area and beyond.

Key Responsibilities


As a vital member of our patient services team, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of our pharmacy and customer service functions. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Patient Enrollment and Data Management: Perform patient enrollment procedures in strict accordance with state and federal guidelines. Accurately enter patient information into our sophisticated pharmacy management systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prescription Data Entry: Process new patient enrollments and prescription information using arenaflex's proprietary data entry methodologies. Enter refill orders into the system for processing, meticulously reviewing all information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and Resolution: Investigate and obtain missing prescription information when necessary. Decode and interpret clinical abbreviations and SIG codes to ensure accurate prescription processing. Resolve all data entry-related exceptions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Communication: Handle inbound calls, emails, and patient visits with professionalism and empathy. Make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to resolve issues, clarify information, or follow up on prescription status.
  • Third-Party Resolution: Address and resolve third-party insurance rejections and oddballs by assessing the situation, gathering necessary information, and resubmitting claims according to specific plan requirements. Contact insurance providers, physicians, and other parties to obtain override approvals or additional information.
  • Pharmacy Support: Provide comprehensive support to pharmacists, including both on-site team members and those at other locations. Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Adhere to state and federal guidelines governing pharmacy operations and patient data handling.
  • Licensure Requirements: Obtain an active pharmacy technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain active status throughout tenure.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development) equivalent.

  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills including the ability to start up and shut down computers, use mouse functions, open and close programs, switch between applications, save documents, print materials, and access information online.

  • Internet Skills: Basic web browser proficiency, including opening browsers, correctly entering URLs, using search engines, bookmarking websites, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms.

  • Keyboard Skills: Intermediate-level keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM), including typing from memory and organizing documents.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications


While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge in the application process:


  • Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment (minimum 1 year preferred).

  • Pharmacy technician certification or registration granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification organization (1.5+ years of experience preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, including meeting quality service standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.

  • Advanced keyboarding skills with a typing speed of 35+ WPM and the ability to type from memory while organizing documents efficiently.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).

  • Familiarity with pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Knowledge of insurance claim processing and third-party billing procedures.
