Position Overview: Client Relationship Analyst

The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a vital federal initiative that allows eligible healthcare organizations to purchase prescription medications at significantly reduced prices, enabling them to stretch scarce resources and expand access to care for medically underserved populations. As a Client Relationship Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare partners who participate in this important program, ensuring they receive world-class service, strategic guidance, and operational excellence.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, managing daily communications, conducting program assessments, guiding clients through pharmacy agreement reviews, identifying opportunities for program optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently. You will be the face of arenaflex for our clients, representing our commitment to quality, integrity, and exceptional service in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Relationship Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a diverse set of responsibilities designed to drive client satisfaction and program success:
- Client Partnership Management: Serve as the dedicated single point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships while addressing their unique needs and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Program Advancement: Act as the subject matter expert for 340B program opportunities, identifying and driving initiatives that enhance program performance, increase efficiency, and deliver measurable value to our clients.
- Issue Resolution: Own the end-to-end resolution of client inquiries and issues, demonstrating unwavering commitment to excellence and providing the highest level of service in every interaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal support teams to gather, interpret, and synthesize data from various sources, translating complex information into actionable business insights that inform client strategy and program performance.
- Process Improvement: Solicit client feedback, analyze current processes, and develop improvement solutions while recommending system enhancements that drive operational excellence.
- Client Education & Training: Communicate reporting changes effectively, guide clients through transitions, and analyze requirements to develop more robust and meaningful reporting solutions.
- Audit Support: Provide essential support for 340B program audits by explaining data flow across systems and offering clear, comprehensive guidance throughout the audit process, whether on-site or remotely.
- Documentation & Follow-Up: Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, documenting concerns, comments, and actions taken. Proactively reach out to clients to address inquiries, share investigation results, and communicate planned changes.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate productive working relationships with cross-functional internal partners across IT, Stores, Legal, Sales, and other departments to facilitate seamless information exchange and collaboration.
- Industry Expertise Development: Develop an in-depth understanding of the 340B program and continuously expand knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy services industry trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes, both within state and out of state, to support client meetings, audits, and program initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR high school diploma/GED with two (2) years of relevant client or account relationship experience.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving moderate to complex business issues, with the ability to recommend and implement effective solutions.
- Self-Direction: Proven track record of developing approaches to achieve goals and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, with the judgment to work independently and know when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal communication skills (telephone, one-on-one, and group presentations) and written communication skills (emails, letters, reports, presentations) tailored to diverse audiences including workgroups, teams, company management, and external clients.
- Customer Service Orientation: Experience providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers, with a commitment to meeting quality standards and measuring customer satisfaction.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency:
- Excel: Fundamental level skills including creating workbooks, inserting rows/columns, formatting cells as currency, using copy/paste/save, text alignment, renaming worksheets, and basic printing functions.
- PowerPoint: Fundamental level skills including inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, adding and editing text, inserting tables, and running slide shows.
- Word: Fundamental level skills including document creation, text manipulation, formatting, inserting images, using find/replace, spell check, and printing capabilities.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least two (2) years of client/customer service experience OR High School Diploma with two (2) years of client or account relationship experience.
- Previous experience working in a client or account management environment.
- Industry background in healthcare, including familiarity with 340B programs, pharmacy operations, hospital/clinic settings, or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
