What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every customer who walks through our doors enjoys an outstanding shopping experience. Customer Engagement & Service Excellence

- Proactively identify customer needs and offer helpful assistance, ensuring that each person receives personalized attention and guidance.
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, working diligently to resolve issues and ensure complete satisfaction.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge to provide accurate information and helpful recommendations that meet customer needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate consistent follow-through on customer requests, ensuring that every interaction concludes with the customer feeling valued and appreciated.

Sales & Transaction Operations
- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale systems, ensuring all transactions are completed with precision.
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and electronic payment methods with meticulous attention to detail and full compliance with security protocols.
- Process returns, exchanges, refunds, rain checks, and void transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Recommend complementary products, upsell opportunities, and partner items that enhance the customer's shopping experience and meet their needs.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals while maintaining the highest standards of customer service integrity.
- Stay current on promotional offers, seasonal campaigns, and special programs to effectively communicate value to customers.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of all counters, shelves, and display areas throughout the store.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, stock rotation (utilizing FIFO methodology), and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Implement planogram directives, including setting up promotional displays, seasonal merchandising, and executing resets as directed by management.
- Ensure proper product placement and organization, following guidelines for food safety and product positioning (e.g., raw versus pre-cooked items, frozen goods storage).
- Support both indoor and outdoor maintenance efforts to ensure a pristine, welcoming store environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient store operations and support during high-traffic periods.
Asset Protection & Compliance
- Implement company asset protection strategies to identify and minimize potential loss or shrinkage.
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and local regulations regarding the sale of regulated products, including age verification procedures.
- Maintain awareness of security protocols and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines without exception.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete all assigned training programs and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Assume pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, selecting items, and fulfilling customer orders for in-store pickup.
- Provide support in specialized departments, such as photo services, digital solutions, and creative printing services when applicable.
- Perform special assignments and additional duties as directed by management to support overall store operations.
- Maintain positive, respectful relationships with all coworkers and contribute to a harmonious team environment.
