What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities Include:

Advanced Analysis and Modeling: Advise on analysis and modeling techniques, selecting the best approach for structured and unstructured, complex data. Develop custom analysis models to generate insights that drive value for our customers and create competitive advantages for our organization.

Data Pipeline Collaboration: Work closely with our talented data engineering team to construct the right data pipelines from our diverse sources, enabling you to implement advanced statistical methods and design interventions that optimize business performance.

Exploratory Research: Conduct exploratory investigation involving hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis (predictive and/or prescriptive) to uncover hidden opportunities and validate business assumptions.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven Full-Stack Data Science Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop, enhance, and scale models for production environments. You understand the complete data science lifecycle from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.

Strong Analytical Foundation: The ability to connect the how and why, using your deep understanding of data science theories and techniques to derive the most effective approach that delivers meaningful business results.

Advanced Statistical Proficiency: Proven experience with statistical methods and advanced modeling techniques including SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, graph models, NLP, computer vision, neural networks, and more.

Programming Excellence: Proficiency in languages used to manipulate data and derive insights from massive datasets, including Python, R, SQL, and related technologies.

Database Technologies: Hands-on experience with database technologies and distributed datastores, including both SQL and NoSQL systems.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, and TensorFlow

Background in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods analytics

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights

Experience working in agile, cross-functional team environments
