The Role: Data Scientist - Product

As a member of our Data Science team, you'll act as an analysis expert for your partners, using numbers to help them make better decisions. You'll weave compelling stories with meaningful insights from data, creating strategic recommendations for Googlers in Engineering and Product Management. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities that directly impact our product development and business strategy. Your daily activities will include:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to develop business or product recommendations, including cost-benefit analysis, investment strips, forecasting, and impact analysis that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.


• Deliver compelling presentations of findings and recommendations to various levels of stakeholders, creating visually engaging presentations of quantitative information that effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Develop and automate reports that streamline analytical processes, iteratively build and model dashboards to provide insights at scale while solving for sophisticated analytical requirements.


• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, design and execute analysis that includes data collection, evaluation, ongoing scaled predictions, and impactful presentations.


• Assist arenaflex in focusing on key decisions that improve products and services, leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.


• Translate complex analysis results into clear, actionable business recommendations that stakeholders can implement immediately.


• Design and implement quantitative models that predict user behavior, optimize product features, and identify trends that inform product roadmap decisions.


• Partner with Engineering and Product Management teams to define metrics, measure success, and drive continuous improvement across our product portfolio.

Essential Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications and are ready to make an immediate impact:

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Sciences, or a related discipline. Your academic foundation will provide the analytical skills necessary to excel in this role.


• Statistical Programming Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with statistical packages such as R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, or similar tools. You should be comfortable manipulating large datasets and conducting sophisticated statistical analyses.


• Data Manipulation Skills: Proven ability to articulate product questions, pull data from datasets using SQL, and apply statistical methods to derive meaningful answers that inform business decisions.
