What You'll Do

As the Director of Data Science & Analytics at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our analytics function to meet the demands of our rapidly growing enterprise. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop a High-Performing Analytics Team: Build, mentor, and scale a team of data scientists and analysts, ensuring the team has the skills, tools, and resources needed to deliver exceptional results. Define clear goals and objectives aligned with arenaflex's overall strategic direction.
• Talent Acquisition and Development: Identify, recruit, and retain top-level analytics talent. Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering their growth and career advancement.
• Define Key Performance Indicators: Establish comprehensive KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product features, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Use these metrics to drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Drive Business Results Through Data Analysis: Identify opportunities for product improvements and revenue gains through sophisticated data analysis, experimentation, automation, and technology advancements.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in leading product and customer analytics, experimentation, and insights within global top-tier technology companies, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.
• Leadership Experience: 3+ years in a management role, with a proven track record of building and leading data science and analytics teams from the ground up.
• Proven Results: Demonstrated history of delivering successful insights, driving measurable business results, and enabling continuous product improvement through data-driven strategies and experimentation.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools including Python, R/SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Cross-Functional Experience: Experience working collaboratively with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance disciplines.
• Executive Presence: Prior C-level/Executive Board exposure with experience contributing to and leading depth discussions with C-suite partners.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
