About the Role: Revenue Management Analyst

The Revenue Management team at arenaflex is responsible for driving one of the most critical aspects of our business: maximizing revenue through intelligent pricing, capacity management, and demand forecasting. As a Revenue Management Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in analyzing market conditions, optimizing inventory allocation, and providing actionable insights that directly influence our commercial strategy.

This position offers three distinct career paths depending on your experience level:

Entry Level (Professional 1)

As an Entry Level Revenue Management Analyst, you'll begin your journey with comprehensive training and mentorship. Your primary responsibilities include:


  • Developing proficiency in Revenue Management Systems, including demand forecasting, elasticity analysis, and marginal revenue transformation

  • Providing input into the design and implementation of strategies to optimize revenue

  • Learning to analyze market conditions, including capacity, competition, schedules, and fares

  • Supporting the team in extracting and interpreting business data from various dashboards and databases

  • Assisting in the development of overbooking strategies based on historical no-show data

  • Collaborating with senior analysts to understand revenue optimization techniques

  • Participating in meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

This level is perfect for recent graduates with a passion for analytics and the aviation industry who are eager to learn and grow.

Intermediate Level (Professional 2)

At the Intermediate level, you'll take on more responsibility and autonomy. Your duties expand to include:


  • Utilizing strong knowledge of revenue management concepts to conduct in-depth market analysis

  • Adjusting overbooking levels based on historical patterns and current demand signals

  • Extracting relevant business statistics from dashboards, databases, and Revenue Management Systems

  • Implementing revenue-optimizing strategies with minimal supervision

  • Communicating strategies and outcomes to senior management and cross-functional teams

  • Identifying trends and opportunities for revenue improvement

  • Contributing to the development of pricing and inventory strategies

  • Mentoring entry-level analysts and sharing best practices

Professional 2 analysts are expected to be self-starters who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality insights that drive business results.

Senior Level (Professional 3)

As a Senior Revenue Management Analyst, you'll be recognized as a subject matter expert and leader within the organization. Your responsibilities include:


  • Applying deep expertise to analyze complex changes in market conditions

  • Developing approaches to ambiguous business challenges with minimal guidance

  • Being accountable for meeting/exceeding unit revenue goals and KPIs

  • Creating system improvements and process optimizations

  • Exercising significant judgment on inventory strategy decisions

  • Communicating strategies across the entire organization, including executive leadership

  • Leading initiatives and driving transformation within the Revenue Management function

  • Mentoring and developing junior team members

  • Representing the Revenue Management team in cross-functional strategic projects

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

For Entry Level (Professional 1):



  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Engineering, or a related discipline; OR 2 years of experience in analytics or a related field in lieu of a degree

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take calculated risks and accept responsibility for outcomes

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment

  • Expertise with data analysis programs (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alteryx, or Tableau)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Ability to extract, interpret, and present large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and strong analytical abilities

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Minimum age of 18

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

For Intermediate Level (Professional 2):



  • 2 years of analytical experience in revenue management or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Engineering, or a related discipline; OR an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree

  • All other skills and requirements listed for Entry Level

For Senior Level (Professional 3):



  • 4 years of analytics experience in revenue management or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Engineering, or a related discipline; OR an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree

  • All other skills and requirements listed for Entry Level

Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience in the airline or travel industry

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python

  • Experience with revenue management systems and forecasting tools

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
