Position Overview
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Diversity and Inclusion Lead to conceptualize, develop, and execute a comprehensive D&I strategy for our External Games portfolio. This role reports directly to the Production Director and works closely with external game studios, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to integrate diversity and accessibility principles into every stage of game development—from initial sourcing and concept selection to final release and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and implementing successful D&I programs within the gaming industry, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive meaningful change, and support external development teams in creating games that truly resonate with diverse player bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision Development: Expand and manage a shared D&I strategic vision for External Games, including best practices, programs, goals, and budget allocation that align with arenaflex's overall business objectives.
- Team Inspiration and Leadership: Inspire and motivate the External Games team to integrate the D&I strategic vision as an essential part of our game sourcing, development, and design framework—ensuring the vision comes to life in every project.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner closely with External Games leadership, producers, business development teams, Product Managers, and Creative Leads to ensure diversity is a foundational element of our game sourcing and development processes.
- Inclusive Design Support: Work directly with game teams to understand and support their inclusive design needs, providing guidance on accessibility features, representation, and culturally sensitive content development.
- Business Impact Strategy: Collaborate with the Production Director and VP of External Games to create a comprehensive business impact strategy that defines how arenaflex will serve the industry while supporting and expanding opportunities for underrepresented talent. This includes partnerships with organizations such as WINGs, BVIG, IDGA, and other industry groups.
- Program Management: Oversee daily operations of all D&I programs and initiatives, applying structured methodology to guide change management activities and ensure measurable outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Manage a small team of Project Managers and Producers with a focus on accessibility, providing mentorship, direction, and support to drive excellence in all initiatives.
- Industry Leadership: Drive change within the gaming industry by identifying opportunities for arenaflex games to support and amplify underrepresented developers, creators, and voices.
Essential Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in game diversity, inclusion, and accessibility roles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement impactful D&I strategies.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in game development environments across mobile and PC platforms, with a solid understanding of the game development lifecycle.
- Program Development: Proven experience in inclusive game development, specifically implementing high-level strategies into successful programs that drive measurable change.
- Production Perspective: Experience planning and leading programs from a game production standpoint, with the ability to drive positive change across a games portfolio.
- Influential Leadership: Experience leading through impact and perception, with the ability to cultivate relationships and promote outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Industry Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of the landscape and emerging trends in inclusion, accessibility, and representation within new media, technology, and the entertainment industry.
- Problem-Solving Skills: An uncanny knack for arriving at solutions through unconventional methods and developing actionable plans to bring them to fruition.
- Passion for Gaming: Genuine passion for playing and creating games, with an understanding of what makes games engaging and accessible to diverse audiences.

- Experience working with external development partners and managing vendor relationships
