Position Overview

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing databases, and providing administrative support to our Adult Education programs. This position requires someone who pays close attention to detail, can manage multiple tasks efficiently, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and security.

You will work with various databases and systems to ensure that critical information is properly recorded, organized, and made accessible to staff and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

The Data Entry Specialist role encompasses a wide range of duties designed to support the smooth operation of our Adult Education office. Here's what you can expect:


  • Database Management: Manage multiple databases with precision, ensuring accurate record-keeping and optimal data organization. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our information systems and ensuring that all data is properly categorized and stored.
  • Grant Data Entry: Enter required grant data accurately into our reporting systems (including NRS) to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines. This includes compiling, verifying, and submitting data that is critical for funding and compliance purposes.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data. You will ensure that all student information is properly documented and that records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Maintain required security of student data in compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Protecting sensitive information is paramount, and you will be trained on best practices for data privacy and security.
  • Quality Assurance: Complete regular error checks and data clean-up activities to ensure accurate reporting. You will identify and correct discrepancies, validate data integrity, and implement improvements to minimize errors.
