What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be at the heart of our passenger operations, serving in either our Ticket Counter or Gate area. Your responsibilities will be diverse, dynamic, and essential to ensuring smooth daily operations. Here's what you can expect:

Ticket Counter Responsibilities:


  • Ticket Sales and Issuance: Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets for passengers. You'll help travelers secure their itineraries, make changes to existing bookings, and ensure they have the appropriate documentation for their journeys.

  • Check-In Process Management: Oversee the entire check-in process, verifying that passengers have proper travel documentation, including passports, visas, and any required health certificates. You'll ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining efficiency and friendliness.

  • Baggage Handling: Tag luggage and manage the check-in of checked bags. This includes lifting and moving items weighing up to 80 pounds, ranging from floor level to waist height. You'll play a vital role in ensuring luggage is properly tracked and loaded onto the correct flights.

  • Customer Guidance: Provide directions, information, and assistance to passengers throughout the check-in process. You'll answer questions about baggage allowances, seat assignments, flight schedules, and travel policies.

  • Security Compliance: Adhere to all security protocols and procedures in every operational process. You'll maintain awareness of security threats and follow established guidelines to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew members.

Gate Operations Responsibilities:


  • Boarding Assistance: Assist passengers with seat selection, boarding procedures, and gate announcements. You'll use computer systems to check seat availability, manage boarding lists, and ensure a smooth boarding process.

  • Flight Information Management: Provide real-time updates on flight status, delays, and gate changes. You'll communicate clearly and professionally with passengers, keeping them informed and addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Baggage Services: Handle checked baggage at the gate, including managing oversized or special items, coordinating with baggage handlers, and resolving issues related to lost or delayed luggage.

  • Gate Preparation: Manage workflow processes to ensure everything is in order before aircraft arrival. This includes preparing boarding areas, coordinating with flight crews, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.

  • Aircraft Door Operations: Assist with opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. You'll ensure proper safety procedures are followed during boarding and deplaning operations.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service throughout the boarding process. You'll represent arenaflex with professionalism and a positive attitude.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old

  • Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish

  • Computer Skills: Basic entry-level computer proficiency

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with appropriate grammar, tone, and expression

  • Work Availability: Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to frequently lift bags and items weighing up to 80 pounds

  • Authorization: Must be authorized to live and work in the country of application
